Teacher Changemaker Event Organized at Ludhiana

American India Foundation works for empowering teachers and enabling learning environment under Digital Equalizer program. As part of DE, AIF also recognizes and honors the teachers for their innovations in education in collaboration with STIR Education. These “Teachers are Real Change-makers” in Education.

AIF in collaboration with STIR organized a state level event at Malwa Khalsa Senior Secondary School, Ludhiana where these teachers shared their innovative practices with a larger group of teachers from Punjab and Haryana. In all, 230 teacher innovations were discussed and disseminated during the event for effective teaching – learning practices and improved outcomes.

Shri. Anil Sandhir (District Admin officer), S. Jasvir Singh (District Edusat Coordinator), Shri. Rajwant Singh (ICT Coordinator), Mr. Suman Das Gupta (Associate Director, STIR) and Mrs. Mrinalika Dhapola (Operation Director, DE) inaugurated the event and motivated teachers to continue with their good work to make students more compatible and responsible citizen. All the teachers were awarded with a certificate from AIF and STIR for their innovative practices. Various teachers shared their experiences and ignited the vision among others. All the teachers thanked AIF for providing such a wonderful platform for teachers and students.
